The Board of Governors met in regular session in the General Administration

Building, Chapel Hill, on January 12, 1996, at 9:30 a.m. Mr. Neill, the chairman, presided.

INVOCATION

Mrs. Perry asked the board to observe a moment of silent prayer in honor of the

late Dr. Adolph Dial of Lumberton and then gave the invocation.
