Tanya, a 17-year-old student, ponders an important career decision. She serves as a youth volunteer to find out more about nursing and decides it's the career for her. She concludes that by becoming a nurse, she can "Be the Difference" in people's lives.
At least eight nurse professionals assist her decision making by providing an overview of the variety, power, security, flexibility and satisfaction potential of nursing careers. The video concludes with a photo essay of kids imagining how they can make differences in their own and others' lives.
The video was designed specifically for middle and high school students. Youth as well as adults are included with colorful, transitional graphics. It is an excellent tool for stimulating questions and conversations about nursing careers.
