The Hero's Journey by
John L. Brown and Cerylle A. Moffett- this book tells how heroic educators
can triumph in their journey through new practices and confrontations to
the barriers of change in education and achieve excellence for
students. The stages of the journey are illustrated with many familiar
situations for any school administrator.
The Wounded Spirit by Frank Peretti- This is a great book
for a middle school educator. The author examines the pain from his past
and helps us uncover the scars in our own lives. He illustrates how
ridicule and rejection can push people beyond the brink. He shows us the
way to heal the wounded spirit that lies within us all. |
