Who
Moved My Cheese
- by Spencer Johnson, M.D.
I wish I had this book when I first became a principal!
This is a wonderful story about
some mice who have to make some decisions when their "normal"
stash of cheese is gone. They
have to deal with this unexpected change in their lives.
If You're
Riding a Horse and it Dies, Get Off - by Jim Grant and Char Forsten
Wonderful story, particularly interesting for educators in
North Carolina, in a kid
book. The moral of the story
is stated in the title, but the various pages
provide humor in the ultimate message.
Learning By
Heart - by
Roland S. Barth
Sequel to Improving Schools From Within.
This book raises issues for those
involved with school reform. Barth
discussed the things that happen in schools that really make a difference
and poses questions to guide us on our journey in discovering our
own work and giving our hearts to it.
