Tracie L. Alston

The PATL logo was designed and developed by Tracie L. Alston, a Southeast Raleigh
High School student. It was chosen by Principals' Executive Program (PEP) staff from
among more than thirty student-developed logos. The logo design project was directed
by Cynthia Kennedy, Southeast Raleigh's computer
graphics instructor and fine arts
division leader. Ms. Kennedy worked collaboratively with Principals' Executive Program
(PEP) staff providing them with quality art work and her students with a challenging,
authentic activity. Tracie graduated from Southeast Raleigh High School,
a math, science and technology
magnet, in June 1999. "Attending Southeast Raleigh has given me the opportunity to
use
the advanced technology that other high schools do not have available", said Tracie.
She
plans to pursue a career in Graphic Design and Theater at Winston Salem State
University. |
