Facilities Inventory and Utilization Study (1998)
An annual publication from UNC General Administration since 1967, the Facilities Inventory and Utilization Study details the status of space in 118 North Carolina public and private institutions of higher education at the end of the drop-add period of the fall term at each college. This study also gives indications of the uses being made of the space and provides where feasible, norms and historical information for the past five years to enable institutions to make their own assessments of their facilities. The purposes of the study include providing facilities data to federal and state authorities, making data on North Carolina facilities available to other commissions for comparative purposes, and providing participating institutions with data which may be helpful to the management of their facilities.
